ClipperCMS is shutting down

Due to reducing interest and support, the ClipperCMS project is shutting down.

Security issues reported to github https://github.com/ClipperCMS/ClipperCMS/ will be answered for the forseeable future. Subject to your own technical knowledge, please be sure to verify that these are genuine issues.

Some of the bundled snippets and plugins may be removed from the github repo.

The forum will be available for further discussion till New Year's Eve, then all sections of www.clippercms.com website will be removed, except the documentation page, which will stay available for consultation till July 2017.

Re: ClipperCMS is shutting down

Can not believe it! Very very sad!

I have more than 70 Websites of Clipper running.

What can I do? What is useful?

Back to EVO?
directly to Revo?
Or are there people want to develop Clipper in further? that would be great!!!

is there in future Secure Updates?

Sorry for my english.

Re: ClipperCMS is shutting down

Security updates are currently still being issued for ClipperCMS; v1.3.3 issued today. This will continue for the foreseeable future.

If you choose to switch back to Evo, I advise waiting a short while to see how current events with Evo pan out. The Evo download page has been taken down very recently.

My advice - and what I am doing myself - is to maintain current ClipperCMS sites with the security updates issued, and to switch to something else entirely - neither MODx nor Clipper - for new sites.
